Well, i recently acquired a MicroKorg XL - for use as a MIDI controller and a nice bitimbral synthesizer with beyond-VA features (formant synthesis for instance) and a pretty nice, modular architecture. So I just recorded this track, with -all- sounds coming from the MicroKorg XL, most of them programmed by myself with the great Korg editor app! Recorded into Ableton Live 8.2.1 with a Roland SD-50 Sound Canvas as the audio interface. Most tracks played live, although the percussion and bass are sequenced! It's a slightly housy track, and I guess it shows off the nice, varied sounds of the MicroKorg XL to a sufficient degree ;)
